Welcome to Karalaks!

A nice campsite located in scenic surroundings. Here you can find tranquility in a homely atmosphere and nature right outside. We are surrounded by fishing lakes, hiking trails, cloudberries, blueberries and cranberries. Lakselva (The salmon river), one of Norway’s most popular salmon fishing rivers, flows past about 4 km away, Karalaks are widely used by those who fish there. The tourist destination Nordkapp is less than 3 hours drive away, and we are located 7 km south of Lakselv center.

Our rooms and cabins have a relatively simple standard, with bunk beds. But they all have their own bathroom. The cabins also have a mini-kitchen. Our room guests can make use of our new beautiful guest kitchen. We have rooms and showers adapted for wheelchair users.

From July we start the operation of our outdoor swimming pool, it is 9 × 5 meters, and about 150 cm deep. We strive for a temperature of 30 degrees in the water. For those who want completely fresh water, we are located right by Trekantvann (Triangel lake) where you can swim, fish and use our boat. Those who want to stay ashore can barbeque at the shore.
